Our Mission

We Build the Software That Reads the Shop's Paperwork and Runs It

Every job shop we walked into told the same story: quotes worked up from prints by hand with a ruler and a calculator, certs buried in someone's inbox, invoices chased for 60 days after the parts shipped. The shop's real work was drowning in its paperwork. So we built BrixIQ to read that paperwork (the drawing, the cert, the vendor bill) and run it.

Our Mission

β€œTo take the paperwork off the shop's back: read the drawing, price the job, find the cert, collect the invoice, so the people who make things can get back to making them.”

In every machine, plating, coating, and finishing shop, the same hours disappear the same way: measuring prints by hand, digging for certs before an audit, chasing invoices long after the parts shipped. None of it is the work customers pay for, and all of it decides whether the shop wins the job and gets paid. We're here to take it off their hands.

Our Story

BrixIQ started in 2024, on the floors of the shops themselves. Everywhere we went, the story was the same: an RFQ lands and someone prices it off the print with a ruler, a calculator, and last year's spreadsheet. The customer wants a cert and it's in somebody's inbox. The parts shipped three weeks ago and the invoice still hasn't gone out, and once it does, it'll be chased for 60 days.

None of that is a people problem. It's a paperwork problem. So we taught software to do the reading: take a customer drawing and pull the part number, dimensions, material, and surface area straight off it, price the job against the shop's own rates, read a vendor bill into a matched payable, and file every cert where one search finds it.

Today BrixIQ is the operating system for job shops: machine, plating, coating & finishing. It starts with automated estimating (drawing in, quote out), and the same platform runs quality records, invoices and payments, a customer portal, and a scan center. Your team reviews and approves; the software does the re-keying your people used to do by hand.

β€œBrixIQ does the reading a shop's best people are stuck doing by hand: the drawing, the cert, the vendor bill, so the team keeps its tools and loses the busywork.”

Where This Is Going

The ERP was built to record work after it happened: someone keys in what was quoted, what shipped, what was billed, and the system files it. The next generation reads the documents itself, drafts the work, and leaves the decisions to the people who know the job. That's what we're building for job shops, and I think it's what comes after the ERP.

Our Values

These principles guide every decision we make, from product development to customer support.

01

Customer-First

We obsess over the problems that cost shops jobs and cash, not building technology for technology's sake.

02

Practical Innovation

Software that earns its keep on a real shop floor, not just in a demo. Every capability is proven on real drawings, real certs, and real invoices before we talk about it.

03

Quality Excellence

We hold ourselves to the same standard as the shops we serve: rigorous, reliable, and accountable for the numbers we produce.

04

Manufacturing Community

We're part of the manufacturing ecosystem, committed to making American manufacturing more competitive globally.

Our Journey

2024

Idea & Discovery

Started on the shop floor, walking job shops across machining, plating, coating, and finishing. Heard the same story everywhere: quotes measured by hand, certs buried in inboxes, invoices chased for weeks.

2024

Prototype & Validation

Built the first version that could read a real customer drawing (part number, dimensions, material, surface area) and put it in front of the shops that would use it.

2025

First Customer Success

Went live with our first shop: drawings read into priced quotes, quality records in one searchable place. Real jobs, real prints, real rates.

2025

Growth & Expansion

Expanding across machine, plating, coating & finishing shops, and building out the modules that run the rest of the job: quality, finance, customer portal, and scan center.

Our Commitment to Manufacturing

American manufacturing is the backbone of our economy and our national security. We're committed to making it more competitive, more efficient, and more attractive to the next generation of manufacturing professionals.

That's why we build all our software with manufacturing-first principles: data stays local when needed, systems work with existing tools, and features solve real problems that real shops face every day.
